We’re pleased to announce that we’ve recently added two new engineering firms to our ever-growing portfolio. TGM Partners has acquired Automatic Engineers, based in Leicestershire and Barnsley’s Vesseltec UK. These latest acquisitions bring total turnover of businesses within the TGM group to nearly £25m.
We’re recently acquired a 100-year-old foundry and engineering firm in Lincolnshire, ensuring its heritage for many years to come. The company manufactures and supplies products for the construction, rail and municipal market from its 20,000sq ft headquarters in the coastal town. The acquisition is a perfect fit with our existing portfolio of nine other industrial and engineering firms, further supporting our long-term strategy of acquiring and nurturing family-owned UK businesses.
Our firm was established by Jon Frewin, Eric Kolodner and Rupert Harrison, who between them have more than 80 years of experience in finance, operations and acquisitions. Over the years, we have been joined by seven further team members, all with one goal in common – to support engineering and manufacturing SMEs forge their next chapter under new management.
